Grade 1: Skills Unit 2 Reader "Gran"

The decodable Reader for Unit 2 is called "Gran." It is about a well-traveled grandmother who visits her two grandchildren, Josh and Jen. The stories in the CKLA program are 100% decodable, meaning they are made up entirely of spellings and Tricky Words introduced or reviewed quickly in class during previous lessons. Some of the stories in "Gran" should be presented as demonstration stories, which will allow you to model the process of reading separated digraphs.
