This is the first of three lessons on the dialogue between Hamlet and Ophelia. In this lesson, students listen to a Masterful Reading of the staging of a dialogue between Hamlet and Ophelia and then read the beginning of the dialogue in Act 3.1, lines 99–130. In the beginning of the dialogue, students focus on the development of Ophelia’s character in relation to the other characters in the scene.
