Grade 11 ELA Module 1, Unit 2, Lesson 16

Student graduating

In this lesson, students analyze two rich soliloquies that include Claudius’s confession to the murder and Hamlet’s decision to delay killing Claudius until a “more horrid” time. Students engage in a discussion about how Shakespeare orders the action and further develops the characters of Claudius and Hamlet through these soliloquies.
