Grade 3 Module 3A, Unit 1, Lesson 9


Lessons 9, 10, and 11 are designed as a sequence to scaffold students’ ability to develop and support their opinions with reasons. This lesson, focused on Chapter 7 of Peter Pan, asks students to first develop their opinion in writing and then share their thinking with students who have the same opinion.
